Derbyshire Business Award 2020
Following our success at the East Midlands Chamber Derbyshire Business Awards in 2019, we are very pleased to announce that we have won at the 2020 awards! Up against stiff competition in the Business Improvement Through Technology category. The award was welcome recognition of some of the technological advances we’ve made in the last 12 months to help us improve the products and services that have seen us become world leaders in allergy and intolerance testing.
The last 12 months have been incredibly challenging for businesses across the globe. The pandemic has seen many businesses cut back in an attempt to ride out the storm. Healthy Stuff took a different approach. We decided to invest heavily in new technologies to help us streamline processes that were demanding of staff time in an effort to allow us to spend more time delivering exceptional customer service.
With the volume of kits that we sell on a daily basis, the postal process was incredibly demanding on staff time with many of the processes manual and time exhaustive. We engaged our web development team to identify a method of automation which dramatically reduced the amount manual input required. It has also reduced the potential for errors meaning our customers receive a more efficient, accurate service.
In an effort to simplify the results process, we have also developed our first app. The Healthy Stuff app is the easiest way to access your results and has been developed in-house to ensure that we can quickly implement new features and fixes as they become available. We’re very excited about the future with regards to apps and have several other apps planned.
